Boat timbers, chain, pottery and rusty metal. All from the windswept shores of Coigach in Scotland
Wrecked was a very time consuming piece. I had collected a lot of driftwood pieces with man-made shapes which were just so painterly in their appeal. It took many hours to combine the shapes and the colours to achieve a restful but interesting combination. In the end the rusty fencepost from Culnacraig and the rusty chain from Lulworth Cove helped me to finish it.
