Swan

Wood, granite pebbles

Swan is part of the group of birds developed for Open Studios 2022. As soon as I spotted the curved body shape, I knew it needed to become a swan. Fortunately my wood collection yielded two suitable wings and a walk in the local woods supplied the tilted head of the bird. It is emphasised by the two granite pebbles forming the eyes.
